Game Over, Democracy?
How tech monopolies are destroying free media – and how to save democracy
Trump, the tech oligarchs and European populists have joined forces to destroy European democracy. The problem is: US digital monopolies are bringing ever larger parts of our lives under their control. Already now, the platforms are dominating the formation of political opinion in the European public sphere, at the same time abolishing our free market economy. Martin Andree demonstrates via data measurements how far the hostile takeover of our democratic society by tech giants has already progressed – and how we can take back the internet.
